Thank you to Ruth Houston for sharing this gorgeous picture of 'Frankie Owl'  in her son's room!

Ruth is now entered into the Pigeon Gillian competition, which ends this Sunday evening, the 7th of August (Australian time). Competition Give Away!
Would you like to win one of my handmade lino prints, of your choice? There are two artworks up for grabs. Read on to see how you could win….. Prize one: Share a photo of my artwork on display in your home (if you own one!) via my Facebook page and/or Instagram account, and the photograph that collects the most likes will win an artwork of their choice.

Prize two: The second prize will go to a randomly selected person who has ‘liked’ the most popular photograph. (i.e. if there are 20 ‘likes’ on the winning photograph, there will be 20 names put into a hat and one winner will be drawn). Entrants must comment which artwork you would like to win from my Etsy store - visit www.etsy.com/au/shop/PigeonGillian to have a look at my artworks.

Studio Shot

I had a brilliant day in the studio today with my faithful studio assistant, Gracie for company. I was overachieving, with a bit of edition printing, lino carving and some drawing for a very special commission. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and had some great listening thanks to BBC 4 Desert Island Discs, This America Life and the goddess, Aretha Franklin!
